NIST 800-171 is a codification of the requirements that any non-Federal computer system must follow in order to store, process, or transmit Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or provide security protection for such systems.

As a DOD supplier, Chandler Industries, adheres to the cybersecurity requirements listed in the DFARS 252.204-7012 clause. We have invested significant resources to develop a strong and compliant cybersecurity program that our customers can feel confident in.

What is DFARS 252.204-7012?

The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clause 252.204-7012 requires contractors and subcontractors to provide adequate security to safeguard covered defense information that resides on or transits contractor information systems. This includes implementing the security requirements in NIST SP 800-171.
